Detailed Description
We are currently seeking an Emergency Department Manager to have responsibility for overseeing utilization of all resources, for performance improvement and operations, and for providing a safe care environment. The ideal ED Manager will facilitate interdepartmental and intradepartmental, medical staff, and community relationships and seek ways to improve the quality of care delivered in the Emergency Department. This individual is decisive, collaborative, open-minded, team-focused, wholly in support of the HOSPITAL vision and fully invested in the success of the staff and organization within our community. A qualified ED Manager will demonstrate the ability to support and further a patient-centered care culture and provide caring and dedicated leadership to their team. A minimum of six (6) years recent Emergency experience with three (3) years in a leadership role. Recent experience with trauma service regulatory requirements to include Washington State Law, OSHA, and trauma designation. BSN required, CEN preferred. Must maintain active Washington State RN License. BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS required.
